Coconut Shell Based Activated Carbon

But Why?

Advantages of Coconut Shell Based Activated Carbon

High Adsorption Capacity

The micro-porous structure of CSAC enhances its ability to adsorb contaminants effectively. Ideal for removing organic pollutants, chlorine, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Superior Hardness & Durability

Higher mechanical strength compared to wood or coal-based activated carbon. Less dust formation, making it ideal for long-term use in filtration systems.

Renewable & Eco-Friendly

Made from a renewable resource – coconut shells, which are a byproduct of the coconut industry. Environmentally sustainable compared to coal-based alternatives.

Excellent Purity & Low Ash Content

Low ash content ensures better efficiency and minimizes interference in industrial applications. No harmful by-products, making it safe for use in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

Effective in Water & Air Purification

Removes chlorine, chloramine, pesticides, and heavy metals from drinking water. Used in air purification to eliminate odors, toxic gases, and airborne contaminants.

Cost-Effective & Long-Lasting

Longer lifespan due to high hardness and resistance to abrasion. Reduces operational costs as it requires less frequent replacement.
